Normally, if someone moves from New York City to a log cabin in the middle of the woods in the Arkansas Ozarks, it’s for one of two reasons. Either, (a) she is really into taxidermy, or (b) she got suckered at a particularly convincing 90-minute timeshare promotional presentation. In the case of artist Anita Huffington, however, her move to the ‘Zarks was all about finding an inspirational place to create beautiful art. (At least, as far as we know.) See Huffington’s sculptures, along with paintings by Philip Morsberger, in The Mind’s Eye, the newest exhibition on display through April 23 at Valley House Gallery & Sculpture Garden, 6616 Spring Valley Road. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 972-239-2441, or visit valleyhouse.com.
Mondays-Saturdays. Starts: March 19. Continues through April 23, 2011
