$10,000

The weather is finally warming up, which isn’t just good news for us humans. Sure, we love to spend time outside, but pups all over the Metroplex have been waiting for this weather for months. That’s why the Friends of Fair Park are opening the Cotton Bowl’s gates for the Fifth Annual Dog Bowl so canines of all breeds and sizes to run freely through its gigantic field full of toys, contests, splash pools and more. Pups can enjoy agility courses and doggie demos including, “Dancing with the Dogs.” Owners are invited to listen to live music and learn the latest training tips from veterinarians and actual trainers. Luv My Pet will also be on site offering reduced prices on various vaccinations and microchipping. The Dog Bowl opens its field this Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Cotton Bowl Stadium, 3750 Cotton Bowl Circle. Admission is free, and parking is $10. For more information, visit fairpark.org.
