It’s that time of year again — when rabbits hide eggs and kids go on wild goose chases to find them, getting hopped up on chocolate and little bunny-shaped sugar bombs. This year, head on over to the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary to celebrate Easter — every bunny’s favorite springtime holiday. Families are invited to bring a picnic lunch and a few of their own decorated eggs to hide around the sanctuary. The blooming gardens offer an idyllic backdrop — and plenty of really good hiding places. After the hunt, there will be plenty of time to explore the miles of nature trails, the native plant garden and a mix of indoor exhibitions on everything from bugs to marine life. Kids ages 3 to 12 get in free with a paying adult. For more information, call 972-562-5566 or visit heardmuseum.org.
