Get your pairings on at the Texas Trailblazers cooking class 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Paula Lambert of the Mozzarella Company and Susan Auler of Fall Creek Vineyards will be teaching you all about cheese and wine pairings and you’ll be busy getting hammered. But don’t let that stop you from chugging some Fall Creek–they’re probably nice enough to give you a printed copy of all the recipes. A few gems from the menu include: risotto with asparagus and Parmigiano, field greens with pears and Deep Ellum Blue (which I always thought was what you call a hooker giving you a black eye in the grass on Main Street, but I guess it’s food) and angel-food berry trifle.
