Keep Dallas Observer Free
We’re $1,700 away from our spring campaign goal!
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures Dallas Observer can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
You may already be living life by the three Rs — reduce, reuse and recycle — but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few new and improved ways to live greener. The Green Living Family Festival invites families to learn eco-friendly tips from green vendors and enjoy live entertainment, while the kiddos participate in some activities just for them. Take a break from the festival to walk on through the new Bugs! exhibit, see Animals of the World or stroll through the nature trails. The festival kicks off this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Heard Museum, 1 Nature Place in McKinney. Admission ranges from $6 to $9, but McKinney residents can enjoy free admission with a valid driver’s license or current water bill. For more information, visit heardmuseum.org.
