You know how sometimes you want to laugh and sometimes you want to cry? This is one of those laugh-y times. (If you want to cry, go watch Beaches or pluck a nose hair.) Improv and sketch ensemble FrankenMatt are coming to town. Wait a second, isn’t ensemble just a fancy way to say duo? Why yes it is. Frank Caeti and Matt Craig started at Second City in Chicago and their credits include Saturday Night Live, MADtv, The Office, Reno 911, and According to Jim. Yes, that According to Jim. Career highlight? Maybe. Guess you’ll just have to find out Thursday at 8 p.m. The FrankenMatt show is performed in two acts — one sketch and one fully improvised — so pack up your absurd crowd participation suggestions and head over Dallas Comedy House, 2645 Commerce St. Tickets are $15 and on sale now at dallascomedyhouse.com (or if you’re terrified of the Internet, get them in advance in person).
