Face it. The grind of a 9-to-5 job and the stress of getting there without popping every vein in your forehead is taking a huge toll on your health. Sometimes the only escape available is a quick, cheap trip to the greasy fast food drive-thru that may allow you to take a short staycation via your mouth but won’t extend your lifeline. For once, treat yourself to something tasty that won’t eventually kill you starting with a visit to the Little D Farmers Market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on the first, second or third Sundays of the month in the parking lot of the Four Corners Brewing Co. It’s a smorgasbord of freshly grown fruits and veggies and other homemade goodies made to be as healthy and tasty as possible by people who actually care if you live longer. The Four Corners Brewers is located at 423 North Singleton Blvd.
First and Second Sunday of every month, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.; Third Sunday of every month, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Starts: April 6. Continues through June 1, 2014
