Forget Bill Nye the Science Guy; Sid the Science Kid has got it all. Sure, he’s already a pretty smart kid, but he can also teach future scientists the ins and outs of everything science with a little music and humor. The PBS kids television star asks his viewers questions like: “Why do bananas get mushy?” Throughout the show, Sid gets help from his friends and family to help him figure out these everyday science-related questions. The Museum of Nature and Science presents Sid the Science Kid live this Sunday at its Science Building, 1318 S. Second Ave. in Fair Park. The shows start at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. This is a special members-only event and space is limited. Admission is free, but reservations are required. For more information, or to make reservations, call 214-428-5555, or visit natureandscience.org.
