What do a burrito stand, a Japanese high school room, a vase of tulips and an old movie theater have in common? They are all subjects in the photography featured in Photographs Do Not Bend Gallery’s forthcoming exhibit, Hidden Treasures. The exhibit will sample from PDNB’s archives and showcase 14 different photographers whose work has not adorned the gallery’s walls in the last few years. Also featured in this show will be Neal Slavin’s signature image from his Britons series, showcasing large-format Polaroid images of Channel swimmers from the 1980s. Hidden Treasures hangs through May 1 at the gallery, located at 1202 Dragon St., Suite 103. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays; admission is free. Visit pdnbgallery.com for more information.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Starts: Feb. 20. Continues through May 1, 2010
