Turns out Half and Half isn’t about cyborgs at all. It’s about marriage, but before you fall asleep at least read the description. Half and Half is a comedy that takes a look at two couples. The first couple is set in the 1970s with the husband in the role of breadwinner. The second couple is set in modern day where the wife brings home the bacon. Over the last four decades marital roles have changed for sure, but are they changing back? James Sherman’s two related one-act plays explore this notion while dust-busting giggles along the way. Half and Half takes the stage 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; 7 p.m. Sundays through June 25 at The Pocket Sandwich Theatre located at 5400 East Mockingbird Lane, Suite 119. Call 214-821-1860 for more info. Rated PG-13.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: May 20. Continues through June 25, 2011
