One of the joys that rarely happens to today’s budding comedy nerds is watching the reaction of their parents when they happen upon one of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. Few things can produce such a strange facial mixture of bewilderment and confusion. Imagine how they would look if they were to seem them live on a stage where they don’t have to answer to the whims of a television censor. They’ll get their chance when Tim and Eric come to town to perform a live version of their insane brand of surrealist comedy on the stage of the Majestic Theatre (1925 Elm St.) at 8 p.m. Thursday. The best part is that they are bringing a friend: the host of Check It Out! Dr. Steve Brule (aka John C. Reilly). We’re all sure to learn a lot of important information about the world and ourselves.
