There’s no official word from Delkus, but the DADA Fall Gallery Walk may be the perfect way officially usher in the season. Keep in mind that by this point in September, temperatures in the 80s mean fall has arrived. With this 29th annual event, you can arrive yourself…at more than 35 galleries and art spaces in Dallas, Irving, Arlington, and Denton. The exhibitions range from contemporary to ancient, and from photography to handmade tile. While not all are reachable by casual stroll, some are clustered for a nice two-wheel experience, so check out the DADA Bike Swarm starting at 1:30 at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, 223 Jefferson Blvd. And from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Anteks (1135 Dragon St.) hosts Barry Friedman, author of Still Chasing Rainbows: Collecting American Indian Trade & Camp Blankets, for a signing, as well as Jed Foutz, a fifth-generation Indian trader selling a variety of vintage Native American wares. DADA suggests beginning at the MAC, 3120 McKinney Ave., but for an expanded directory, call 214-914-1099 or visit dallasartdealers.org.

Sat., Sept. 20, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., 2014
