$10,000

Let’s not even pretend that we’re really all that worried about the Detroit Pistons themselves. As of the time this article was written, they were eighth in their conference (though, we don’t want to get too cocky). It’s really their teeth we’re concerned with. After two of Houston Rocket Carl Landry’s teeth ended up in Dirk’s elbow, we’re totally paranoid that some other ambitious team is going to try to top the feat. Three, four, a full bridge. It’s a terrifying prospect. Keep your fingers crossed, your distracto-bricks waving and mouth guards at the ready for the Mavs as they take on the Pistons 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the American Airlines Center (watch live broadcast on FSNSW). Tickets are $2 to $2,800. Visit ticketmaster.com and mavs.com.

Tue., Jan. 5, 7:30 p.m., 2010
