Without the help of snow or even much fall foliage, we Dallasites have to work a little more earnestly to prime our spirits for the holidays. Thankfully, The Singapore Slingers have just the thing to help that process along. Matt Tolentino’s 18-piece jazz orchestra will present its annual Winter Revue at Pocket Sandwich Theatre on Wednesday. Per usual, they’ll be focusing on popular tunes from the ’20s and ’30s, but this time their repertoire will be skewed toward songs about chestnuts and reindeer. The show begins at 7:30 p.m., but food and beverage service is available, so consider going extra old school and arriving early to partake in the full dinner theater experience. Tickets are $20, with a discounted $16 admission available to students and seniors. Call the box office at 214-821-1860 to reserve your spot.
