Artist Dale Chihuly may very well be the most famous glass sculptor in the world. His “Chihuly Bridge of Glass” received international attention when it was unveiled back in 2002 in his hometown of Tacoma, Washington, and his colorful glass garden installations have been exhibited all over the world. Plus, the guy wears an eyepatch because of injuries suffered in a 1976 auto accident–seriously, nobody has rocked an eyepatch like this since the days of Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show. He also leaves the actual glass-blowing to a team of apprentice artists because of a shoulder injury he suffered in a 1979 bodysurfing accident. How could you not wanna bro down with this guy? Check out a small sampling of his art starting Thursday at Dunn and Brown Contemporary. Exhibit hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays through October 24.
