Like any improv troupe, Section 8 has great shows and “meh” shows. But that uncertainty is part of the appeal. A flubbed joke from one performer might lead the guys into a bizarre tangent, or it might just result in merciless onstage ball-busting from the others. Either way, it’s usually funny. But even when it’s not–or, as is more likely, you just don’t get it–you know that one of Dave Little’s priceless comedy songs is on its way.
