This Sunday marks the 13th Annual Vibha Dream Mile, which is taking place along the lovely shores of White Rock Lake. In Vibha, which is hosting the fundraiser in other cities across America this weekend, you couldn’t ask for a more appealing non-profit: they’re just a bunch of non-political do-gooders out to, well, do good. This year’s Dream Mile (actually a 5K and 10K), just like every year prior, raises funds for underprivileged children in India, with a percentage of the proceeds benefiting a Plano youth shelter. The races get started bright and early at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Tee Pee Hill, 3240 W. Lawther, with an award ceremony to follow. For more information, call 214-267-8424 or visit vibha.org.
