The traditional American New Years has come and gone, but if yours was a total flop, you have a chance to make up for it. The Chinese New Year is upon us and it’s the Year of the Ram. To celebrate this old tradition, Flora and Harwood streets will be filled with specialty booths, wellness activities and cultural performances. There also will be plenty of hands-on activities, like decorating red envelopes, making sheep headbands and glowing paper lanterns. And don’t forget about the photo booths and fortune telling and family yoga. But if all of that bores you, there are food trucks. Yes, there will be a diverse selection of food trucks — everything from Bobaddiction, Bombay Chopstick, Simply Dosa and Nammi. Be at the Crow Collection (2010 Flora St.) at 11 a.m Saturday. Admission is free. More at crowcollection.org.
