Some folks are all about the rare find that can elevate status and, well, just make them seem awesome to others. So Jacqueline Cambata‘s latest line of porcelain–exclusive to The Crow Collection of Asian Art’s Lotus Shop–should be right up their collective alleys. Except that Cambata’s porcelain is actually a wonderful and beneficent thing to own–she uses a portion of sales to microfinance the efforts of village women in poverty-stricken countries. Celebrate the arrival of Cambata’s porcelain with the artist at a wine reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lotus Shop in The Crow, 2010 Flora St. RSVP to 214-979-6436.
