Every year, LCC throws a fundraiser at Monica’s Aca y Alla, and you’d think there would be a queso-eating contest, because seriously that stuff is delicious, but there isn’t. There is, however, live music featuring Vince Martinez who will woo you with mellifluous songs. Head to Monica’s Aca y Alla in Deep Ellum on 7 p.m. Tuesday. $40 gets you a night of amazing food, awesome company, live music and feel good feelings. It all benefits Legacy Counseling Center, an organization that provides mental health care, substance abuse counseling and special care housing for HIV-positive and AIDS patients in North Texas.
