Keep Dallas Observer Free
We’re $1,500 away from our spring campaign goal!
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures Dallas Observer can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Free this Saturday? Feel like doing some good for all of humanity? The kind of good that tastes like tacos, cupcakes and grilled cheese sandwiches? Then you, sir or madam, might want to check out the Food Truck Holiday Party hosted by Three Men and a Taco in the Arts District this weekend.
Participants will be collecting canned goods for the North Texas Food Bank, and all tips received at the event will be donated to the Make a Wish Foundation. And if you want to freak out on Santa you’ll have 500-plus opportunities to do so. The Dallas Santa Rampage makes an appearance at 5:30. Festive, no?
You don’t have to bring canned food to enjoy the event (the trucks will sell to anyone who shows up), but you should. ‘Tis the season and all that.
Participating trucks include 3 Men and a Taco, Jacks Chowhound, Cup Cakin, and Ruthies Rolling Cafe, and they’ll park at 2121 Flora St.
