For those not daring enough to practice their cardio regimen in the sweltering Texas heat, this year’s Valley Ranch Pumpkin Dash might be the ideal chance to shift into outdoor pursuits. The races will be on Saturday, starting at the Cimarron Park Recreation Center in Irving. The event consists of a 5K run and a 1K fun run.
