Craighead Green Gallery (1011 Dragon St.) presents a First Launch exhibition of works by visual artist Abhidnya “Abhi” Ghuge. The show from the Mumbai, India, native features Ghuge’s Transformation Series, a collection of wall art resembling colorful wedding gowns that depicts the relationship between Eastern and Western cultures. The wall art is created using disposable paper plates and henna patterns on woodcuts. The opening reception took place on Saturday, September 24, during the annual DADA (Dallas Art Dealers Association) Art Walk, but don’t fret if you missed it, because the exhibition runs until October 8.

Mondays-Saturdays. Starts: Sept. 24. Continues through Oct. 8, 2011
