Stay ZaZa Art House and Social Gallery and Turner Carroll Gallery are hosting a new exhibition, West Coast Women, featuring three female artists from the San Francisco Bay Area. Although all three ladies hail from the same region, their styles are nothing alike. Deborah Oropallo incorporates western-style-Annie Oakley types into her work, while Inez Storer and Jenny Honnert Abell focus on the female form in mixed media and mixed species respectively. You’ll just have to see the exhibition if you want that to make sense. The show isn’t all about women, just a large portion of it and why wouldn’t it be? Women rule. Check out West Coast Women through October 20. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and by appointment during the week. Admission is free. Call 214-912-7143 or visit hotelzazadallas.com.

Fridays, Saturdays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Starts: Sept. 16. Continues through Oct. 17, 2011
