Owen Wilson will probably not attend The King James Bible Exhibition on display now through October at the Museum of Biblical Art, 7500 Park Lane. However, if we play a quick game of six degrees of separation, it’s easy to connect the two: Mr. Wilson starred in the film Behind Enemy Lines (2001), which is based on the life of pilot Scott O’Grady, who received his degree in biblical studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, which is where Charles Ryrie was a professor and dean. And The King James Bible Exhibition just so happens to feature Dr. Ryrie’s Bible collection, which includes a page from the Gutenberg Bible, a first edition of the King James Bible, early Greek manuscripts of the New Testament and more. It really is a small world after all! Admission is $12, $10 for students and seniors. For museum hours and more information call 214-368-4622 or visit biblicalarts.org.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Aug. 9. Continues through Oct. 31, 2011
