While we’re busy watching reruns on cable, a whole other world of butterfly survivalism is going on in our backyards. Take, for instance, certain types of butterflies that live by feeding ants with secretions and, in turn, receiving protection during the larval stage. Or consider migrating species that navigate using the earth’s magnetic field or even by following man-made roads. Intrigued?
