We don’t like to brag, but we can throw some pretty awesome parties. From St. Patrick’s Day festivities to the Music Awards, our events are always memorable, even if you had too many Jell-O shots and passed out in a stranger’s yard on the M Streets. Tonight we’re throwing a bash that you won’t want to miss because, well, it’s in honor of you. Yes, you. Come to our first-ever Dallas Observer Tweet-Up party at McKinney Avenue Tavern (2822 McKinney Ave.) from 6 to 8 p.m. for free appetizers and ridiculously cheap drinks. There’s live music from Kristen Major and Brad Thompson, plus we’ll be giving away tickets for our St. Patrick’s Day Concert featuring the Toadies to the guest sporting the most shamrocks and coolest green garb. We’re looking forward to meeting you — our readers, Facebook fans and Twitter followers — so send your RSVP to @ObserverDallas and we’ll save you a seat at the bar.
