Theatergoers who used to grab a glass of wine at Dali before the show may now have to content themselves with cupcakes.
Dimples Cupcakes this week announced it will move into the storefront alongside Tei An. The bakery — Dimples’ fourth location in Texas — will open for business on August. 2.
Rejecting any suggestion that the cupcake craze is dead, owner Chad Sorrells boldly predicts in a release: “We expect our cupcakes to be a hit.”
Those cupcakes include such flavors as chocolate mousse, banana pudding and wedding cake. Dimples, 1717 Routh St. in the Arts District, will be open daily from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
