In the glory days of Saturday Night Live, musically inclined comedians Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi became Elwood and Jake Blues for one of the show’s musical sketches. It was so fun that they decided to pull together some of the most respected musicians in the business and front an actual blues band. Thirty years later, the Blues Brothers are still on a mission from God. Performing now as Elwood and Zee Blues (Jim Belushi replaced his brother), they’re bringing that blue-eyed soul to House of Blues, natch. Doors at 7 p.m., show at 8 p.m. Tickets and more information at hob.com.
