Perhaps the best indicator that your level of fame has peaked is when you are the subject of a comedy roast. But if Andy Warhol’s prediction that in the future each of us gets 15 minutes of fame, that future is here — at least if you’re an American. Jeff Ross, host of Comedy Central’s most blistering insult barrages, including roasts of Pamela Anderson and Charlie Sheen, is roasting the whole damn country. Ross maintains that his insults are his way of showing he cares, and even wrote a book — I Only Roast The Ones I Love: Busting Balls Without Burning Bridges — saying as much. Now it’s your turn to feel the love and get that burning sensation. His tour, Jeff Ross Roasts America, torches the House of Blues (2200 N. Lamar St.) at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets ($22.50 to $29.50) and more information are available at 800-745-3000 or livenation.com.
