Ever since your fur child squirmed into your heart and home you’ve been smitten. But love doesn’t allow you to quit your job or negate your daily responsibilities, so when the weekend arrives you seek out activities that let you bring your pup with you for quality time. This Saturday afternoon, local no-kill pet adoption organization Paws in the City has created the perfect get-together for you and your canine companion by celebrating everyone’s favorite Spring sport: Patio drinking. Ten dollars gets you and your dog onto Dish’s upscale, fur-friendly patio; once there you’ll nibble through complimentary snackatizers and paw your way through drink specials while meeting other, like-minded dog lovers. All of the money raised goes to the non-profit’s mission of rehabilitating and finding homes for dogs and cats in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so there’s no guilt in this boozefest. Don’t have a dog? Don’t worry; they’ll have a few for adoption. Dish is located at 4123 Ceder Springs Rd., Suite 110, and the party runs from 4 to 6 p.m.. Email RSVP@Dishdining, or just show up.
