Independent Journalism in Dallas Needs You
We need to raise $12,500 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
The holidays couldn’t exist without a bit of twinkle. But what about a whole bunch of it? Nothing says Christmas like “aloha,” and Aloha Adventure Park is saying it with their Grand Festival of Lights, boasting more than a million lights in fabulous holiday fashion. Just don’’t tell Al Gore. This isn’t just a drive-through-and-look kind of festival, though. Aloha pulls no punches with their celebration, offering a “dramatic Nativity presentation,” local performers caroling the night away and a carnival just for the kiddos. Oops, I almost forgot the hayrides, petting zoo and food. Um, can I live there? The Grand Festival of Lights is open nightly through January 5, 2008, at Aloha Adventure Park, 1951 Summit Ave. (on the northwest corner of Interstate 35 and FM 407 in Lewisville). For schedule and further information, call 972-317-7373 or visit alohaadventurepark.com.
Fridays, Saturdays, 5-11 p.m.; Mondays-Thursdays, Sundays, 5-9 p.m. Starts: Dec. 21. Continues through Jan. 5, 2007
