When is it OK to spend $250 on a concert ticket? As someone who’ll admittedly do anything to save a buck, I’d have to say never. (I prefer the term “thrifty” to “cheap,” in case you were wondering.) But if you’ve got a little money to spare and wanna feel those warm fuzzies in your chest that come from doing good, check out the Beach Boys at the House of Blues, 2200 N. Lamar St., at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Yes, you’ll get to hear rockin’ classic tunes, but as a bonus, you’ll also be helping out the Jewish Community Center of Dallas, and everybody knows that donating money to community centers gives you massive street cred. Tickets are $250, and the show is all ages. To purchase tickets or for more information, call 214-239-7103 or visit jccdallas.com.

Tue., Nov. 27, 8 p.m., 2007
