Popeyes’ newest sandwich may be simple, but the rules governing an upcoming giveaway are fairly elaborate.
The sandwich, described as “lightly breaded chicken breast marinated in a unique Popeyes blend of seasonings served on a freshly toasted and buttered bun with crispy pickles and mayo on the side,” is free on Thursday, but only for one hour. And not every outlet is offering the 5 p.m. promotion, so the chain’s recommending chicken fans check online to determine whether their nearest Popeyes is participating – and then call the restaurant to make sure the information’s accurate.
Then, all that’s left to do is “Head to your local Texas Popeyes early to beat the flocks of Popeyes lovers taking advantage of this incredible one-hour only offer.”
