Four up-and-coming chefs — two from Dallas, two from Fort Worth — earned the honor of preparing the food for last night’s Rising Stars Chefs’ Dinner at Turtle Creek Mansion, just one of many events in store at this weekend’s Dallas Wine and Food Festival. See shots of the chefs at work, along with their winning dishes, in our slideshow.
We’ll have more on how the festival unfolded early next week, but if you’re making weekend plans, check out the rest of the schedule here.
The wine and food fest continues a big week for gustatory happenings, which also included the Observer’s Wine and Dine at Fashion Industry Gallery on Wednesday night. We’ve got two photo sets up from that night: this one with food and wine from each of the restaurants that joined in the fun, and this collection of party pics.
