The two Dallas chefs stand in a field of 100, divided into 10 different regions.

McCallister is “amazing because he’s attracting crowds to his first solo venture with his modern locavore dishes,” according to the Food & Wine profile of the chef. Meanwhile, Flores is “amazing because with with his deft hand at both raw and cooked dishes, he’s given Dallas its best seafood restaurant ever.”

Amazingly, every chef in the competition is amazing, according to Food & Wine.

If you want to get in on the game, you can vote for either chef by going to the Southwest region page. You, however, will not be considered amazing for your efforts.
