Independent Journalism in Dallas Needs You
We need to raise $12,500 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
There are few reasons to look forward to Mondays and the workweek they begin…unless, of course, you frequently find free CDs and beer in your office mailbox.
Well, The Grape (2808 Greenville Ave.) and Dallas winery (yes, you read that right) Times Ten Cellars have given local drinkers at least one thing to look forward to on Mondays: an extra hour of Happy Hour prices. The Grape offers Times Ten Cellars’ Sauvignon Blanc and Libertine blend for $5 a glass during Happy Hour 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Happy Mondays, and during Happy Hour from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. That’s in addition to other drink specials such as $2 domestics, $3 wells and appetizers in the $3 to $6 range.
Reason enough to bail from work early and have a glass of hometown wine instead.
