There are plenty of reasons to drink on April 15, particularly if you just checked off “single” on the marital status portion of your 1040 form.
From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, The Single Gourmet will meet at Sevy’s Grill in Dallas for dinner paired with Merryvale wines. For $89, diners will enjoy a 30-minute reception with hors d’oeuvres and bubbly, followed by a four-course steak or seafood dinner.
Unlike many Single Gourmet events, this one is open to nonmembers. Reservations (available here) are due today, though. And, unlike your taxes, you can’t file for an extension.
