$10,000

A source just alerted us that the editorial and sales teams of Quick, the Dallas Morning News‘ free, alt offshoot, were told at 10:15 a.m. this morning that next week’s issue of the weekly publication would be the last to hit stands.

We here at the Mixmaster have rubbed elbows often with the staff of Quick while out covering events, shopping, eating and everything else, and we offer our sincere condolences to all of them right now.

Stay strong out there.

Update: Robert has the full story, with details from DMN publisher and CEO Jim Moroney over on Unfair Park.
