Not going to lie: The only reason I am linking this story — about the first synagogue in Frisco — is because I wanted to run this picture. Because when you’re a 10-year-old Jewish kid in the summer of 1979, there’s nothing better than a movie starring Dr. Frederick Frankenstein as a rabbi and Han Solo as his partner.
