Imports, muscle cars and general machines of inspiration will rev their engines in non-silent salute to Paul Walker tonight at the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson. The event was organized to honor the film star who passed away on Saturday, November 30 at age 40.

Walker did more with his career than just launch a racecar film franchise, he was also a philanthropist and activist who founded the non-profit Reach Out WorldWide to amplify first-responder relief efforts in areas impacted by natural disasters.

Tonight’s special screening of Fast and Furious cost $5, and 100% of the proceeds go to Reach Out WorldWide. There are other ways to pitch in once you get there, like the raffle featuring Fast and Furious memorabilia and autographed items from Gas Monkey Garage, or buying a special benefit tshirt for $10.

Engine revving begins at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. screening. So come out and celebrate Walker’s life by contributing to his legacy.
