Alamo Drafthouse To Open Lake Highlands Location on White Rock Trail

Alamo Drafthouse is expanding once again.

Alamo Drafthouse Lake Highlands, in Dallas’ Creekside Shopping Center, will host its soft open March 20 and its official grand opening March 28. This is the movie chain’s third location in DFW.

The Lake Highlands theater will include everything that makes the chain so famous and enjoyable: curated speciality programming, a made-from-scratch food and drink menu, recliner seats and the no talking or texting policy. The Lake Highlands location also backs up to White Rock Trail.

For those eager to see and try out the new space, head there March 20 for discounted food and nonalcoholic drinks while the staff trains. Tickets go on sale soon.

Alamo Drafthouse Lake Highlands will house eight auditoriums, ranging in size from 31 to 196 seats. The theater’s bar, Vetted Well, seats 150 and includes a patio that overlooks White Rock Trail. Free parking is available.

Alamo Drafthouse’s other DFW locations are in Richardson and the Cedars. A Denton theater is opening soon.
