For those who’ve never seen footage from the deadly 1957 tornado that, as it notes here, “carved a sixteen mile path through Oak Cliff and West Dallas over a time span of about forty minutes,” someone’s just posted to the YouTubes footage from a doc made about the best-documented twisted in history. The narration accompanying the footage is particularly gripping as it charts the F3 monster’s march “through the Trinity River bottoms … north along Riverside Drive … south of Brook Hollow Country Club” and on and on and on. –Robert Wilonsky
