Tomorrow morning, Justin Terveen’s promised us a close-up of the Margaret Hunt Hill’s promised light-er-up from his perch on the Continental Avenue Bridge. But, well, we’ve got an awful good view of the Calatrava from Unfair Park HQ, and our Eric Garcia climbed up to the roof to get a good look-see at the doings. That’s Eric’s video — though I’m not sure if you can handle such excitement as we witnessed from the corner of Maple and Oak Lawn around 6:25 this evening.

On the other side, a few snapshots at the arch turned all blues. (Which reminds me.) There’s also a bigger picture, which is now Schutze’s desktop wallpaper.
