A tipster emailed me over the weekend to let me know that Mockingbird Taproom has closed. Their website is currently down, and a call to the restaurant went unanswered. The mailbox for the number is full.
A spokesperson for Mockingbird Station, which leases the space, confirmed that the restaurant was currently closed, but would not comment on the reason for the closure.
Restaurants-America, the company that owns the Taproom, also confirmed the closure was permanent. The Chicago-based restaurant and consulting company owns more than 20 restaurants across the nation including Boca Chica, Primebar and Townhouse here in Dallas.
