“We got blindsided by two idiots with a video camera and an awful idea. Even people who’ve been with us as loyal customers for 10, 15, 20 years, people are second-guessing their relationship with Domino’s, and that’s not fair.” (Tim McIntyre, spokesman for the pizza chain, responding to an incident at a Domino’s store in Conover, NC, where two employees recorded themselves, um, violating health codes while making a sandwich. The video naturally ended up on You Tube. The employees claimed they did not make the tainted sandwich for a customer, but recorded the incident as a prank. They were fired. As quoted by The New York Times.)
