I’m a writer, not a photographer. And while I’ve certainly nailed some decent shots while out and about eating, there have been a lot of really bad photos to sift through. In my defense I’ve always tried to maintain a low profile while I eat, and it’s hard to do that with a flash cracking off every few seconds.
In honor of the year’s end, here are some of the worst shots I’ve taken since landing in Dallas. Some of them were genuinely bad dishes, others were simply less photogenic, and some I have only my self to blame.
