As expected, the Texas House passed new, restrictive abortion restrictions this afternoon, sending them on to the Senate for final approval, but not before Democrats could launch a statewide bus tour, and not before this pro-choice protester could scream at lawmakers from the gallery. Unlike the clamor that arose after Senator Wendy Davis’ filibuster and killed the bill during the first special session, the disruption was only momentary. State troopers quickly swooped in and escorted dragged the demonstrator from the chambers, as you can see for yourself above.
