It was ’round midnight this morning when power was restored in our Northwest Dallas neighborhood, which had been illuminated throughout the stormy night by Dallas police cruiser spotlights; congregated neighbors said the officers were poking around for a possible prowler attempting to make the most of the blackout. On the other hand, it wasn’t anything a few candles, a tall glass of bourbon and a backyard patio couldn’t remedy.

Others were more inclined toward getting some work done; hence, this photo from our old friend Justin Terveen, who promises more to come. Hey, so does the radar.
