Over the last couple of months, word has dribbled out that former Dallas Housing Authority president and CEO Alphonso Jackson, now the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Department Secretary, is under heavy government scrutiny for allegedly bad behavior in New Orleans, Philadelphia and even the Virgin Islands. Which, reports The Washington Post this morning, isn’t stopping the Dallas native from celebrating himself in the lobby of HUD HQ in D.C., where he’s ordered the display of “20 large, color photographs of the secretary, each about 2 feet by 3 feet.” And five of them feature Jackson with his old Texas pal, the president.
